Delete Your Account

Restroom Critic · Updated August 16, 2026

The short version

Deleting your account permanently removes your email address, your name (if you signed in with Google), and your sign-in. Your public contributions (ratings, facts, notes, added restrooms) contain no personal information and stay in the guide.

Delete from inside the app

  1. Open Restroom Critic and go to Settings
  2. In the Account card, tap Delete account
  3. Confirm — deletion is immediate and permanent

Don't have the app anymore?

Email privacy@restroomcritic.app from the address you signed in with (or the address of the Google account you used) and ask us to delete your account. That's how we verify it's you. We'll confirm when it's done.

What gets deleted

What stays, and why

The ratings, facts votes, notes, confirmations, and restrooms you contributed remain in the guide. They're the point of a crowd-sourced map, they're shown to other users without any identifier, and once your account is gone nothing connects them to you.

Never signed in?

Then there's no account to delete. Since anonymous contributions are tied to a random ID that identifies nobody, there is no account information to delete.
